Doug Schneider will lead a free PTSL-only walking tour of the Grand Center/Midtown area.
ON THIS FREE TOUR YOU WILL SEE: a dancing rabbit, a dog park, the first drive-up window in the United States, site of the Exorcism, an interactive mural (1 of 5 in the world), a street named for a St. Louisan who was a WWII spy for the French Resistance, site of a room built with lumber from the old Arena, a vegetarian bourbon bar, a maypole, the offices of Food Outreach (providing nutritional support to people with HIV/AIDS).
Wednesday, August 28 at 9:15 AM.
We will meet at the street-level entrance to the Angad Arts Hotel, 3550 Samuel Shepard Dr, St. Louis, MO (on the corner of Grand and Samuel Shepard). The tour will last 2 hours + lunch, so you will probably want to park at the parking lot next to Powell Hall.
Please RSVP to Doug Schneider at ParadiseDouglas@gmail.com.
Lunch (on your own) will be at Midtown’s Urban Chestnut Brewing Company: 3229 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103.
