Doug Schneider, Route 66 tour guide for St. Louis Community College will talk about
what you can see in Illinois from the Chain of Rocks Bridge to Springfield, the state capital. Includes: a place that serves the original corn dog, the Ra66it Ranch, a town where 1/3 of the town is on the National Register of Historic Places, a giant swimmer boy, a Route 66 UFO, a neon sign museum, the Turkey Tracks, and the largest number of contiguous Sears Houses in the USA. Plus one of the oldest Route 66 restaurants in the country.
