THE MEN OF PRIME TIMERS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THE GAMMA MEETING which starts at 7:30 PM and is held at the Second Presbyterian Church, 4501 Westminster Place, STL.  GAMMA will have a special guest speaker, Mr. John Crane. Mr. Crane is the PrEP Program Coordinator, Division of Infectious Diseases, Washington University in St. Louis (Office: 314-747-9799).

Note: John Crane works under the direction of Rupa Patel, MD, Assistant Professor, Infectious Diseases, Director, HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Program, Washington University in St. Louis.

PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) is an important tool in limiting the spread of HIV and can be an important consideration in the health care of men in Prime Timers and GAMMA.  Mr. Crane will cover the following topics during his presentation:

-Review of the HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Program
-What PrEP can and cannot do in preventing the transmission of HIV
-PrEP program overview, current research, and upcoming work
-Disease Clinic services overview
-Q & A period
