The Purpose of Prime Timers

We are a local Chapter of Prime Timers Worldwide that provides mature gay and bisexual men (and their admirers) opportunities to come together in a supportive atmosphere to enjoy social, educational, and recreational activities.

Social and Recreational Activities:     

Examples of activities enjoyed by Prime Timers include:

• Luncheons, dinners, potlucks and picnics
• Game nights with boards, pinochle, cribbage and bridge
• Low cost trips to museums, movies and plays
• Outdoor trips - camping, hiking, cycling and boating
• Extended trips in cars, cruises or trains
• And more to match up members' interests

Our monthly meeting is the 2nd Saturday of each month

Issues Affecting Your Life:

Prime Tmers is not a religious or political organization. However,  it is concerned with the impact that social, economic and political changes have on us as aging gay and bisexual men. Examples of topics discussed at monthly meetings include:

• Health issues – weight management, building supportive social networks and staying fit and flexible.
• Travel issues – finding travel companions and gay friendly destinations on a budget.
• Financial planning issues – building and maintaining a secure and fiscally sound retirement.
• Legal issues – the need for wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
